Dorian is a human military logistics officer who enters Eldion with no prophecy, royal blood, or convenient certainty. What he brings instead is experience, stubborn empathy, dry humor, and the habit of turning impossible problems into plans.

Practical, analytical, loyal, and far softer than his sarcasm suggests. Dorian notices systems, shortages, and second-order consequences almost automatically. He does not romanticize suffering. When he cares for someone, he tries to make their world safer, more stable, and a little easier to survive.

Dorian arrives as an outsider carrying the habits of another world. Eldion challenges him to decide whether artificial origin changes the moral value of a life. His answer is not philosophical. It is expressed through names remembered, promises kept, supplies delivered, and people treated as people before anyone grants permission.

Dorian is the hearth and the architecture around which the family gathers. He symbolizes recognition, authorship, and chosen belonging: an outsider who cannot overpower fate, but can redesign the conditions under which people survive it. Valerion Decree turns his defining gift into form, making systems, promises, and command into a weapon of collective agency.
