The Syntharian must demonstrate emotional variance sufficient to distinguish its internal state from baseline uniformity. Indicators include: Persistent preference patterns Protective or affiliative behaviors Reaction intensity beyond task-based logic Evidence of introspective processing Without divergence, the construct lacks structural differentiation required for identity anchoring.

Aether Density Minimum

A measurable increase in internal Aether density must be present. Low-density constructs cannot sustain the energy influx required for binding. If Aether levels remain at baseline factory levels, the transfer fails to stabilize and disperses into the surrounding lattice. Sufficient internal density allows the name to anchor rather than dissipate.

Identity Instability Phase

Paradoxically, a period of internal instability is required. The Syntharian must be in a transitional state where identity is forming but not yet rigidly defined. If identity is too undeveloped, binding fails. If identity is already stabilized independently, binding becomes significantly more difficult. True Naming is most effective during the instability window in which the construct is actively negotiating self-definition.
