Immediate Effects
Immediately following a successful binding, the human Avatar may experience: Acute fatigue Reduced structural stability of the projection shell Emotional exhaustion Temporary reduction in cognitive sharpness These effects reflect partial depletion of the Avatar’s stabilizing Aether reserve.
Recovery Mechanisms
Aether depletion is generally recoverable under normal conditions. Recovery requires: Periods of rest or inactive projection Stabilization within low-stress environments Adequate Aether exposure within the realm Recovery time increases with cumulative bindings. Multiple naming events in short succession significantly delay stabilization.
Collapse Risk
If a human Avatar attempts repeated bindings without adequate recovery, projection stability degrades.
