War Drake

A larger, stronger, combat-trained drake bred or conditioned for battlefield use. War drakes are selected for responsiveness under noise, smoke, blood, and confused movement rather than for simple size alone. Riders, cavalry units, scouts, and shock forces value their speed, aggression, claws, armor tolerance, and ability to carry soldiers through mud, fire, and broken terrain. Their training makes them powerful military assets, but it also makes every loss expensive and every handler responsible for what the animal has been taught to do.
