Seasonal Architecture and the Turning
Seasons in Eldion do not drift gradually into one another. At the exact boundary between two seasons, the world briefly exposes its digital substrate and rewrites the landscape in a visible cascade known provisionally as the Turning.

The visible rewrite
Snow may fragment into geometric traces and resolve into water. Bare branches may regain leaves in a rapid cascade. Grass, flowers, cloud formations, temperature, and ambient light can change as the seasonal state is rewritten.
Natural after the change
Once a Turning completes, the world again behaves as an ordinary physical place. Trees remain trees, snow behaves as snow, and native Eldians regard the transition as a familiar feature of life rather than a supernatural crisis.
An outsider's perspective
To someone arriving from beyond Eldion, the Turning is a rare moment when the realm visibly behaves like the computational reality beneath its natural appearance.
