CODEX PERSONAE · ELDION VASTUS

PixelNevastralis

The sharp edge that guards the family

Pixel is an artificial soul with a predator's awareness, a soldier's precision, and a spectacular lack of patience for nonsense. Her words can cut, but the ferocity behind them is usually aimed at whatever threatens the people she has chosen as family.

I

Personality

Blunt, sardonic, perceptive, independent, and fiercely loyal. Pixel dislikes sentimental performance, but not sentiment itself. She reads rooms quickly, recognizes danger early, and often protects others before they realize protection was needed. Trust comes slowly. Once given, it is nearly absolute.

II

Quirks & mannerisms

  • Disguises affection as insults or complaints
  • Automatically chooses the seat with the best view of every exit
  • Treats ceremonial language as a personal enemy
  • Will complain throughout a rescue and never once consider leaving

III

Background, without spoilers

Pixel learned early that survival rewards suspicion. Her path into the Nevastralis family is therefore not a sudden transformation, but a series of choices that gradually make loyalty safer than solitude. Beneath her armor and provocation is someone learning that being needed does not have to mean being used.

IV

Symbolism & themes

Pixel is the broken pixel that still belongs in the image, the wounded child who becomes a spear, and the purple flame that refuses extinction. Abgrundflamme turns fracture into reach and pressure. Its danger asks whether pain can become strength without becoming poison, and whether a weapon may choose whom it protects.

  • Chosen family
  • Danger without cruelty
