The weapon’s tragedy is that it does not need to invent darkness inside Moridelle. It only needs to make her loyalty heavier than her doubt.

Oathweight: The claymore’s mass changes according to Moridelle’s loyalty and doubt. When her oath burns clear, the enormous blade moves with surprising speed and grace. When doubt enters her heart, the weapon becomes heavier. This makes late-stage Moridelle scenes emotionally brutal. Her conscience literally weighs down her sword. Brass Wreath Guard: A circular brass-gold defensive aura forms around Moridelle, resembling a wreath, crown, or halo of curved metal light. It can deflect incoming strikes, stabilize her stance, and protect nearby allies in close formation. The guard is strong, but it is not gentle. Allies within it may feel pressure to remain in formation.
Limitations and Costs
Weight Instability: Doubt, hesitation, or moral conflict can make the weapon physically harder to wield. Spirit Resistance: The bound Anima may resist through vibration, heaviness, misalignment, or delayed response.
