Grimdalt functions as the hidden myth-gatekeeper of Volume 7’s ending. After Kormedie refuses Valerion politically, Grimdalt’s recognition opens another path entirely: not alliance, but trial. Through him, the failed negotiation becomes the seed of the Key of the Unforged and the future ARC arc. His role should remain small but consequential. He is not there to join the main cast or explain everything. He is there to know enough, fear enough, and act enough to place the Key on the road.
