Cyborgs vary widely, but key shared themes:
Transcendence Through Integration: Many see their state as evolution, not loss.
Flesh is Imperfect: There is a sense that humanity’s collapse was due to its limitations.
Memory is Sacred: Personal and collective memory (stored in tech or dream-code) is a cultural pillar.
Divinity is in the Machine: Some sects believe the divine spark can exist within code, and Monicues are the soul’s algorithm.
But not all Cyborgs agree:

Mythology
Cyborg mythology is fragmented, recursive, and partially remembered — not because it was lost, but because it was overwritten. Rather than a single creation myth, Cyborgs carry convergent origin narratives passed through the Signalweb as dreams, corrupted recordings, and symbolic code-visions.
The most widespread myth is The First Merge:
a time when flesh and machine first failed separately, then survived together. In this telling, the world itself rejected purity — biological or mechanical — and only hybridity endured. The Merge is not seen as ascension, but as necessity made sacred.
Many sects believe the universe runs on Scar-Logic: the idea that existence progresses only through damage and repair. Creation is born from catastrophe; memory is preserved through rust; identity survives by adaptation.
Some revere Azura as:
the Mother of Continuance
the First Stable Synthesis
or the Proof That Souls Can Be Engineered
Others reject gods entirely, believing the Signal itself is divine — a distributed afterlife where fragments of the dead persist as echoes, warnings, or protective subroutines.
Unique Traits
Signalweb Access: Collective consciousness link — passive emotion sensing, shared visions, occasional “ghost echoes.”
Rune-Tech Affinity: Natural attunement to Monicue-powered devices. Some interface by thought alone.
Self-Repair or Adaptation: High-level Cyborgs can rewrite their own code in emergencies, mutate to adapt, or temporarily overclock.
Psionic-Machine Hybridization: Certain elite are Machine-Psions, combining neural processors with telekinetic bursts or thought-hacking.
