Overview
“You don’t knock on Vultaire’s door. If they want you, they already printed your access badge. Or your death certificate.”
— Local merc saying
Overview
Perched on a black plateau overlooking the southwestern district of Al Quasaran, Vultaire Armatura Headquarters—also called the Citadel of Iron Accord—is a massive angular tower of obsidian glass and polished alloy, rising from the scorched sands like a blade pointed at the gods.
It’s the only building in the city that’s climate-controlled, pristine, and actively defended by orbital strike authorization. It doesn’t just defy the desert—it defies mortality.
From a distance, it looks too perfect:
Its walls never gather dust
Its mirrored surfaces reflect no one’s face
Its glowing rune-veins pulse in slow, artificial rhythm, like a heartbeat waiting to kill
Architecture and Security
Automated turrets nested in rune-forged gargoyle mounts
Windows are sensor-reactive glass that goes opaque near unregistered psionic signals
Only those with multi-layered biometric clearance (or very expensive bribes) are allowed past the primary veil gate
Inside:
Floors are silent. Walls listen.
Every room is lit by vertical white-light columns and floatscreens displaying contract metrics in real-time
There is no visible security, because everyone here is security
Rumors speak of a private interrogation theatre called The Unraveling Chamber, where mercs are “retrained” if they ever violate code. No one’s confirmed it. No one’s dared.
Atmosphere and Acoustics
A chaotic fusion of electro-oriental pulse, industrial drumming, and guttural throat-synths. Think desert rave meets mechanical funeral.
Live performers blend ancient instruments with sound-runes and feedback rituals.
The rhythm is primal. Everything is synced to it — the drinks, the dancers, the duels.
Purpose
This is the primary operations center for all Vultaire contracts across the Crownshale-Ash’Khadir corridor, including:
Mercenary deployment and rankings
Contract brokerage and blacklisted bounties
Synthetic tracking networks
Rune-tech weapons testing
Quiet coordination with the Overwatch Alliance
From here, Vultaire manages wars, coups, cargo theft, and inquisitions with the push of a few perfectly polished buttons.
Notable Features and Spaces
The Glass Archive
A memory vault floor lined with cryo-preserved heads of former clients and rogue mercs. Their neural cores are still active—and sometimes questioned for insight.
The Arbitration Hall
Where high-value contract disputes are settled… usually by legal review. Sometimes by pistol.
The Forged Nexus
Vultaire’s tech division: rune-forged armor, prototype AI weapons, synthetic warfare tools.
The lab is supervised by a woman known only as Hexlight—rumored to be an ex-Dämmerlicht architect.
Location & Influence
Though their tower looms cold and untouchable in Al Quasaran, Vultaire Armatura is in every country, but less so in Karthaheim:
Mercs wear their badge openly or hide it under coats
Vendors whisper about “Iron Code Enforcers” in the crowd
Information brokers know that every conversation within five blocks of the tower is recorded
And yet… many still work with them. Because when you take a contract from Vultaire? You either die rich… or die remembered.
