Nulla Misericordia

Overview

Description

Nulla Misericordia is a human supremacist paramilitary cult posing as a grief-born resistance movement. Formed in the decades following the peace accords with Karthaheim, it exists to defy what it calls “The Great Compromise”—a treaty they believe was forged from betrayal, cowardice, and blood unshed.

Their war is one of memory and purity. They see peace as poison, and coexistence as sacrilege. While outwardly fractured, their cells operate with terrifying synchronicity, striking both Earth and Karthaheim settlements alike—particularly those that showcase integration, diplomacy, or hybrid progress.

Nulla Misericordia speaks not of rebellion, but correction. To them, the Collision wasn’t an ending. It was the beginning of a trial… and too many have failed it.

Their operatives wear no sigils. But when the attack ends, when the screaming fades, and the drones circle the wreckage… there it is. Burned into a wall. Carved into a body. Echoed in a cracked comm-link:

“Nulla Misericordia.”
No Mercy.

History

Founded in secret just months after the signing of the Peace Accords, the earliest cells of Nulla Misericordia were forged by survivors of the Outer City Raids—humans whose families were slaughtered by Karthaheim raiders during the early decades after the Calamity. While many found healing in peace… others could not.

These early adherents operated from the shadows of Molnikov Core and the Crownshale tunnels. They began as mourners. They became judges.

Their first major act—known internally as the Judgment at Halveth Crossing—was a simultaneous bombing of three diplomatic rail hubs. Every casualty was either a Karthaheim envoy, or a human official who supported integration. No demands were made. No claims were sent.

Only the words:
“Mercy died with our brothers. We carry its corpse.”

From there, Nulla Misericordia evolved into a movement of precision, ideology, and generational indoctrination. They believe humanity must never forget—and never forgive.

Structure

  • The Tribunal – A council of six known only by codenames (Mercy’s End, Halveth, Vox Ashen, Dogma Black, etc). Rumored to be former Earth generals, Dämmerlicht failures, and exiled tacticians. They speak through encrypted sermons and pulse-code projections.

  • Inquisitors – Field commanders who lead city-burning cells. Each one swears a blood oath never to surrender and carries a fail-safe pulse core to self-destruct if captured.

  • Pallbearers – Propagandists, infiltrators, and recruiters. They leave funeral tokens—burnt feathers, shattered pendant clocks—at the site of attacks as signature.

  • Remnants – Sleeper agents or indoctrinated civilians who live normal lives until “The Recall.” They may not even know they are part of Nulla until activated.

  • Scorchlings – Youth operatives, often orphans raised in isolation. Used for high-risk attacks, false surrender tactics, or psychological warfare.
