The Ardrathi maintain a tense, often contradictory relationship with the outside world.
Major Faction Relations:
Traditional Dwarves: Estranged kin. The Ardrathi see them as regressive and “stone-stuck.” Most encounters are filled with scorn, but also occasional collaboration — especially when dwarves need their tech repaired.
Surface Humans: Regarded with curiosity and exasperation. Humans often misunderstand Ardrathi ethics and design logic. Still, they’re tolerated, especially if they’re willing to fund projects or supply scrap.
Elven Academics: A love-hate intellectual rivalry. Elves bring theories, Ardrathi bring explosions. Many debate for weeks before building anything — Ardrathi call this "thought-hibernation."
The Ascendant Algorith: Dangerous fascination. Some Ardrathi are drawn to its recursion-logic and data-purity but fear becoming absorbed into its emotionless perfection.
Vivis Codex Followers: Mutual respect — both embrace change, fusion, and post-organic evolution, though the Ardrathi prefer wires over wetware.
They also maintain a loose network of black-market alliances with rogue mages, Rift-scavengers, and biomech smugglers who trade rare parts, Monicue vials, or unstable schematics.

Considered mad even by Ardrathi standards. Speaks only in equations, commands 300 drones (each with a personality), and believes he once touched the dreaming mind of the universe.
Brasschild “The Forgetter”
An amnesiac rune-smith who builds world-changing devices but forgets them immediately after. Entire guilds form around reverse-engineering their “accidental miracles.”
